If it’s safe to exit the vehicle, stand behind a guardrail or well away from the road. Place emergency triangles or flares behind your vehicle if you have them. Stay on the phone with our dispatcher if you feel unsafe — we’ll stay in communication with you until our operator arrives. Our goal is to reach you quickly, but please never stand in a travel lane while waiting for help.
